Birthdays are a yearly highlight for kids.
Many will plan their birthdays the whole year leading up to the day– who they will invite, activities, what kind of cake they want, and what toys to ask for, etc.
Not eight-year-old Kai. For his birthday this year he decided to make a donation to Portneuf Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) instead of receive gifts.
He raised $75.00!!!
PAWS is ecstatic to receive such a selfless gift.
Many people think volunteering or making a donation doesn’t matter if it doesn’t seem like it will make a big impact. That’s not the case at all! Our work is made possible because of caring people like Kai.
